Continuing Education Information

Let’s Play Therapy Institute, LLC is an Approved Provider for the Association for Play Therapy (APT). Approved Provider 20-609. Play therapy workshops are offered to psychologists, play therapists, counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and all other mental health professionals. Play therapy credit may not be awarded to non-mental health professionals. For more information on play therapy and how to become a Registered Play Therapist visit the Association for Play Therapy.

Let’s Play Therapy Institute, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7179. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Let’s Play Therapy Institute, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Sophia Ansari

Sophia Ansari, LPCC, RPT, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, author, educator, and owner of Let’s Play Therapy Institute. She is a passionate research trainer who has bridged her knowledge of neuroscience and creative therapies to provide in-depth and highly experiential trainings all over the world. Sophia co-hosts Hero Nation, a podcast on the Geek Therapy Network, which celebrates diversity in the media and explores how to use geek culture in therapy. Sophia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wright State University and her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati.
