This immersive experience will make you think critically about biological narratives, while providing you with the necessary tools to guarantee that your approaches are philosophically, epistemologically and clinically sound.

Day 1: Philosophy

You will be plunged into an intriguing history of psychiatry as well as its key concepts that have shaped it. We shall also look at mental health from various perspectives such as disease, dimensions, behavior, life stories; discuss mind-body connection and biopsychosocial model. You will also polish your critical thinking abilities by knowing how to analyze research, appraise literature, and navigate ethical issues all within a framework of play therapy.

Day 2: Neuroscience

You are going to learn about the biological underpinnings of mental disorders including the effects of neurotransmitters like dopamine and pathways on emotional states.
